【Peru】Physical Education Teacher Capacity Development Support for Peru
In Peru, the number of physical education classes in elementary schools has increased from two to three per week since 2017. Since there is a need for teachers who can develop appropriate physical education classes, they have invited Peruvian officials to Japan to introduce Japanese physical education and physical education class research.
It consists of the first half (Tokyo), the middle half (Aichi), and the last half (Hiroshima). In the first session, participants will learn the overall framework of the Japanese physical education system. In the mid-term session, they will give lectures in response to the issues of the Peruvian field teachers, and in the last session, they will focus on lesson study. It is a systematic program that connects what they have learned in Japan.
See below for the Japanese version.
Feedback from Participant :
Comments from a physical education expert at the Lima City Education Bureau:
It was impressive that young teachers and students conducted research at the university and made efforts to give better lessons to school children and students.
When I return to Japan, I would like to report to the Ministry of Education, which supervises physical education nationwide.
