We held a swimming proficiency test based on the Japan Swimming Federation’s standards. This allowed participants to understand their current swimming level.

We have been conducting this regularly in Vietnam since 2020; this was the 6th session.

To promote swimming and improve swimming skills in Vietnam.

【Outcomes】

49 people participated. Results: 36 passed (covering 47 events) and 3 failed (covering 4 events).

【Challenges and Lessons Learned】

While this is a valid qualification in Japan, it is not officially recognized in Vietnam. We aim to work towards making it a recognized certification within Vietnam.
