The Japan Sport Council (JSC) conducted an experience event for kids to learn about para sports as well as deepen mutual understanding between kids with disabilities and those without through sports in Indonesia.

This event involved visually impaired and unimpaired kids forming groups and experiencing the game and Goal Ball to engage in physical exercise together. By incorporating elements of a treasure hunt, they could cooperate with each other even more in groups of friends toward achieving the goal while through sports, kids were able to nurture friendship that transcended disabilities.

Feedback from Local Contacts :

It’s very meaningful that kids who have disabilities and those without collaborate in an event. We hope to expand the event throughout Indonesia. As the Asian Para Games will be hosted in Indonesia in 2018, we hope to expand sports together with Sport for Tomorrow.
