The city wished to conduct exchange through football, a popular sport locally, and implemented it through the embassy.

Connect sports exchange to international understanding and to the learning and joy of engaging with people around the world.

【Outcomes】

Junior high school students introduced their daily activities and moved their bodies together. A talk exchange was also held; when Japan’s national sport, sumo, was introduced with demonstrations, laughter arose from both venues and a sense of unity was created.

Web connectivity on the Liberia side. When introducing each region, Nikaho High School students used images to present their area, which helped them further reaffirm the strengths of their hometown.
