【Laos】Donations of Sports Equipment and Sporting Events at Elementary Schools in Laos
The student group SPW is working for elementary school students in Japan and overseas based on the philosophy of “sharing the joy of sports with children around the world.” SPW has been hosting sporting events at elementary schools in Laos every March since 2013.
The event was divided into three groups based on the children’s interests: soccer, ball play, and ultimate. The children experienced different sports, and eventually, they all played together. The children played every sport with a smile. SPW hopes that children will learn a lot by enjoying sports and make use of it in various situations in the future to create a better world.
The equipment used at the event was donated together with the athletic clothes so that children would continue to enjoy sports.
