The basic concept of Sanix is to support the sound development of youth through sports, promote sports and enhance competitiveness, and contribute to international exchange among different cultures. As part of their commitment to hosting international sports events, the 2019 Sanix Cup U-17 International Handball Exchange Tournament is now in its twelfth year. A total of 16 male and female teams from Korea, Hong Kong, Germany and Japan competed in the tournament. Since the lodging facilities are located within the tournament venue, the athletes could compete, eat and live together. The environment enhances interaction among the athletes, enabling them to see and understand different cultures.

During the period, in addition to participating in the tournament, participants played friendly matches with other teams, attended an exchange party with the coaches and tournament organizers, and enjoyed sightseeing in Fukuoka City. This event is unique in that the lodging facilities are located within the tournament venue, and the athletes could compete, eat and live together. The environment enhances interaction among the athletes, enabling them to observe and understand different cultures.

Feedback from Participant :

The tournament was at a high level and the players could concentrate on the matches thanks to the efficient organizers. The Global Arena was comfortable as a stadium and for lodging. We were quite impressed by the warm hospitality of the staff. I hope to come back again.
