【Summary】
To support the Ukrainian team’s participation in the Para Badminton World Championships 2022 held in November 2022, three Ukrainian Para badminton players and one coach were invited to participate.

【Project Objective】
The invitation aimed to enable Ukrainian Para badminton players to participate in the World Championships in Japan, as the deteriorating situation in Ukraine has made it difficult for them to practise and participate in competitions.

【Activities/projects】
Support was extended to three members of the Ukrainian Para badminton team for their participation in the tournament, which included a pre-camp. The team also had the opportunity to interact with volunteer staff and others through Japanese culture.

【Outcome】
The support enabled three Para badminton players to participate in the competitions. One of them emerged as the champion of the World Championships. A safe and secure environment was provided for them throughout the event.
