【Project Activities】

We invited boys’ and girls’ high school teams from Japan and abroad and held an international tournament. Beyond matches, we also hosted intercultural exchange events.

【Project Background】

Held at the multi-purpose sports complex “Global Arena,” opened in 2000, to develop the next generation through sport. The event has been held since 2003.

Promote healthy youth development through sport, enhance competitive performance and participation, and foster international cultural exchange.

【Outcomes】

The tournament brought together teams from overseas, the national high school federation, and J.League youth categories without being disrupted by COVID-19 impacts.

If an overseas team that overwhelmingly outperforms others participates, it can make the tournament even more motivating and raise its profile.
