【Project Activities】

This project annually continues to solicit applications from member organizations of our council (who have declared their participation in SSFT) for sports equipment requested by the SFT secretariat. This year, there were no requests, so there are no achievements to report.

【Project Background】

In FY2018, activities began as a certified project of our council, “International Contribution Project through Sports for Tomorrow.” Activities were suspended in March 2021 due to the suspension of the SFT secretariat’s activities. However, an announcement from the SFTC secretariat indicated a restart from FY2022, so we applied for new membership, received approval in April of that year, and resumed the project in June of the same year.

【Project Objective】

As Japan is facing a shrinking population, we feel the necessity of engaging in international initiatives through sports, not just domestic ones. By joining SFTC, we expect to gain various information and connections (same as “Purpose of joining SFTC” in the membership application).

Due to a lack of information regarding the provision of sports equipment, no project outcomes have been achieved yet.
