【Outcomes】
Training sessions were conducted for a total of 555 participants across 7 schools and organizations, and 4 rugby balls were donated to each target organization.
【Voices from Participants and Partners】
“The students are very curious, so having foreign coaches teach them an unfamiliar sport was a lifelong memory for them. Seeing how much the children enjoyed themselves, I want them to continue playing rugby in the future.” (Elementary School Principal)
【Challenges and Lessons Learned】
This time, with the cooperation of the Indonesian Rugby Union (PRUI) and JICA, all plans proceeded very smoothly, and no particular problems arose. In the future, we would like to extend the duration of stay a little longer and also work on promoting rugby in regional cities.
