Held an intrasquad exhibition match (Red vs. White) featuring the French Men’s National Volleyball Team.

【Project Background】

During the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Okinawa City hosted the pre-games training camp for the French Men’s National Volleyball Team. This initiative was sparked by the city once again hosting their pre-tournament training camp for the 2022 Volleyball Nations League.

The event attracted a large number of spectators, providing a valuable opportunity for children and coaches in the prefecture to watch an international-level match.

During the match, the spectators showed immense enthusiasm with loud cheers and clapping. At the end, the players kindly responded to children asking for autographs. This event served as an excellent model for future interactions between sports organizations and local communities, as well as for hosting international tournaments.
