【Project Activities】
Visited Thaksin University in Thailand, conducted two special lectures on the theme of “Sports Injury Prevention,” and held a conference to discuss the direction of physical education teacher training curriculum development.
【Project Background】
Initiated through exchanges with Thaksin University in Thailand, which specializes in education. Repeated information exchanges on curriculum for physical education teacher training and student exchange deepened mutual understanding and friendship. Through these exchanges, efforts began for the joint development of a teacher training curriculum that contributes to preventing accidents during physical activities in both countries.

【Outcomes】
Momoyama Gakuin University of Education shared its expertise in teacher training curriculum with Thaksin University, aiming to prevent accidents during physical activities. This involved promoting localization based on mutual understanding and contributing to the dissemination of safety education adapted to the local educational culture by utilizing cultural tuning methods.
【Voices from Participants and Partners】
Participants in this activity have given feedback that it was highly significant. Furthermore, a comprehensive agreement has been signed with Thaksin University, and continuous efforts are underway.
【Challenges and Lessons Learned】
Directly transplanting our university’s teacher training curriculum carries the risk of misunderstandings and friction due to differences in socio-cultural backgrounds. It became clear that careful adjustment and adaptation to the local educational culture are necessary, which remains a challenge for the future.
