Aiming for society where people can easily enjoy sports even without a leg “Blade for All“ (2023)
【Summary】
“Blade for All” is a project aimed at democratizing sports prosthetics for a society where people can easily enjoy sports even without a leg. In FY2023, the project provided opportunities for prosthetic leg users in India, Brazil, the Philippines to run.
【Project Objective】
The objective is to democratize sports prosthetics for a society where people can easily enjoy sports even without a leg.
【Activity/Outcome】
The following activities were implemented according to the needs and challenges in each country:
〇Fitting workshops :People using a blade for the first time learn how to switch from their usual prosthetic leg to a blade.
〇Running clinics: Organising running clinics in collaboration with local prosthetist and orthotist.
<India>
Blade fittings were carried out for 10 prosthetic leg users, and clinics were organised with local athletes.

In collaboration with local prosthetist and orthotist, four children were fitted with blades and running clinics were held with local athletes.
