The 1st international friendship soft tennis festival was held at Josai University in Saitama Prefecture. Eight players were invited from the Thai soft tennis national team, the players that participated from Japan were from high school, university, and the general public which attracted many spectators to watch the games. During the two-day festival, players enjoyed playing games and raising awareness of soft tennis which is widely promoted in Asia through international exchange programs. Thai players were delighted to teach soft tennis lessons to junior high school players and make friendships with many Japanese players.
There was a request to cooperate in full-scale technical coaching in Thailand, and the university will continue to carry out support activities in the future.
