Held a casting sport competition and invited international participants, aiming to improve the skills of Japanese athletes and foster international exchange.

In cooperation with the International Casting Sport Federation, the event was held concurrently with the Japan Championships as a preparatory tournament for the Asia Cup.

【Outcomes】

Inspired by international players, female athletes, who are still few in Japan, were motivated to seriously engage in casting sport.

【Voices from Participants and Partners】

“I don’t want to be praised just for being a woman; I want to become a player who can win based on my skill, like the international athletes. What should I do to achieve that?” – This serious inquiry was received after the tournament. She has been practicing diligently and will participate in an exhibition match at the World Games in August.

【Challenges and Lessons Learned】

It was realized that holding two tournaments in parallel in November is challenging due to the short daylight hours, leading to the consideration of moving the event to spring or summer, or holding the tournaments separately.
