USA Athletics Clinic (2025)
【Project Activities】
A national coach and an Olympic medalist were invited from the USA Track & Field Federation. They visited elementary and junior high schools in the city to conduct athletics classes and also held an “USA Athletics Clinic” for elementary and junior high school students and their parents.
【Project Background】
This project has been held as part of the Host Town Initiative since FY2017, following Narita City’s registration as a Host Town for the United States (along with Sakura City and Inzai City) in FY2016, spurred by the hosting of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
【Project Objective】
To promote sports among citizens and revitalize the local community by inviting national coaches and top athletes from the USA Track & Field Federation to provide world-class technical guidance and foster international exchange.

【Outcomes】
By receiving instruction from world-class athletes, including Olympic medalists, children were given dreams and hope, and their competitive skills were enhanced.
