Exchange between Okinawan Children and Top Athletes (2023)
【Project Activities】
Exchange activities with children involving the Australia men’s national basketball team and the Georgia men’s national team.
【Project Background】
In conjunction with FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 being held in Okinawa City, exchange activities were conducted with children when the Australia and Georgia national teams held their pre-tournament training camps.
【Project Objective】
Create opportunities that inspire children to aim to become future top athletes and to take on the world in a wide range of fields.

Improved children’s basketball skills, supported healthy development, and contributed to the development of globally minded human resources.

【Challenges and Lessons Learned】
To continue creating opportunities for next-generation children to interact with top athletes and engage in international exchange, we will build relationships in future years as well, including through online exchanges.
