Yuhei Fujita, an employee in our Marketing Department, possesses national team-level skills as a guide skier in Para Nordic Skiing, and participated as a designated elite athlete and coach.

Dispatch and invitation of athletes

【Outcomes】

Won 3rd place in the 10km free event. Fostered exchange with athletes from participating countries and deepened the understanding of parasports among tournament spectators.

While maintaining interest in the sport since the Beijing Paralympics, being featured by local governments, television stations, and newspapers has contributed to the revitalization of winter sports.

【Challenges and Lessons Learned】

After the Beijing Paralympics, it was a significant challenge to once again raise competitive motivation and physical conditioning.
