Sanix International Juvenile Judo Team Championships in Fukuoka 2019
The competition is to spread and develop junior high school judo and improve their competitive strength. This is part of the Sanix commitment to fostering human resources that can contribute to international society, i.e., enhancing healthy development of potential judo players for the Olympic Games and World Championships as well as the youth representing the next generation. The event provides an opportunity for the young people to have self-awareness based on a global perspective through cultural and international exchange including judo matches with teams from abroad and attraction programmes.
In addition to the championships, participants had a quality time at the training camps and in renseikai training, which was held mainly for the teams from overseas. International exchange was constantly carried out through eating and living together, enjoying tug-of-war and other recreational activities at times. A technical clinic was also held inviting a world-class judo player for the participants to improve their skills and be inspired.

Feedback from Participant :
We really felt privileged to be in an environment where competitions with over 800 players are routinely held. I hope the championships will continue in the future and that we will be able to come back
