The 39th Kampu yacht race was held in Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. This friendly race is a long-standing competition of about 40 years with its sister city, Busan, South Korea, and Shimonoseki City in Yamaguchi Prefecture. This race is an international friendship race held by private yacht clubs and exchange venues every year. Next year, it is scheduled to be held in Busan. They arranged close matches this year again and are looking forward to next year’s rematch.
After the race, we took the delegates from Busan for sightseeing, and they enjoyed the beautiful landscape, food, and culture in Shimonoseki city.
