Running event, Hello Kitty Run China 2018 ~ The Power of Sweet ~ was held in Chengdu, China, utilizing the Sanrio character Hello Kitty on August 25, 2018.

Since this event is the first official character fun run in Chengdu, many people, especially family members, participated. Participants ran a 3km course decorated with Hello Kitty decorations.

All runners wore Hello Kitty T-shirts designed exclusively for this event. At the end of the run course area, there was a game booth, shooting spots, Hello Kitty show, and meet and greet stage creating a fun space allowing the participants to join in the fun as the members of the event drew participants’ faces into the world of hello kitty.
