【Taiwan】Japan-Taiwan Friendship Soccer Clinic
This initiative began with the desire of Nobutoshi Kaneda, the chairman of the Japan Soccer Association, to give back to the community through soccer to the generous assistance received from Taiwanese people during the Great East Japan Earthquake.
Soccer clinics were carried out for local boys and girls in Taipei and Hualien. The members exchanged opinions with local leaders on what is needed for the development of Taiwan Football in the future and were able to deepen relations outside the pitch.
A soccer clinic was held on the ground of Taipei Japanese School for students and local teams of Taipei Japanese School on June 9. They gave basic technical guidance on “stop, kick, and carry” and demonstrated it in a mini game.
Another soccer clinic was held on the grounds of the National Hualien Agricultural School for boys and girls in Hualien soccer on June 10. They provided basic technical guidance on “stopping, kicking, and carrying”. As they exchanged opinions with local leaders on what is needed for the development of Taiwan Football in the future, which were able to deepen their interactions outside the pitch.
The members received generous support and cooperation from many companies and organizations for the event. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Feedback from Participant :
I was happy that the Japanese legend came to Taiwan. I would like to make use of what I learned locally in future practice and games. And I hope that the friendly relations between Japan and Taiwan will deepen further in the future.
