Support for Foreign Martial Arts and Sports Trainees by International Budo University in 2017
The University accepted foreign trainees who were requested for training by overseas martial arts and sports organizations. In fiscal 2017, a total of 258 foreign martial arts athletes and sports trainees from 19 countries regions.
The university supported and provided opportunities for martial arts athletes to train while staying on campus and gave joint training sessions to achieve the purpose of their training.
Although the purpose of their stay for each group was different from the training team compared to the national team, the university provided training facilities such as dojos and gymnasiums and provided support through joint training sessions and friendly matches with the faculty members and students. The university will continue to accept foreign martial arts and sports trainees in 2018 as well.
