【Denmark, Sweden, Norway】Lecture Meetings of Budo for the Disabled in Scandinavian Countries 2017
International Budo University has held martial arts seminars for people with disabilities at 15 bases in three countries, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.
We have built a system open to people with disabilities by making use of the knowledge we have accumulated through research on martial arts for people with disabilities. “Budo”, which transformed the technical study of battle into a method of personality development and peace, is a wonderful Japanese sports culture and was introduced in European countries. Participants experienced great learning from each other by practicing together with people with disabilities and able-bodied athletes.
See below for the Japanese version.

Feedback from Local Contacts :
I was surprised because I thought that only healthy people could do martial arts. I realized that it is important to think about "what can be done" rather than "what can not be done".
