JSC-JOC-NF Collaboration Project: Badminton Camp for France Junior Player Utilizing Japan High Performance Center
The second French Junior Exchange was held at the Ajinomoto National Training Center from December 3-12, 2016. Through joint practice with the U-16 National Junior Team in Japan, we were able to interact with players and coaches.
Japanese-style training not only contributed to improving the competitiveness of French junior athletes but also gave Japanese athletes a valuable experience. Through the tour of the All Japan Championships, where the very best of Japan compete against each other, I deepened my understanding of Japan’s efforts to develop badminton competition and player training programs. We also promoted mutual understanding of badminton between the two countries.

Feedback from Participant :
I was surprised by the Japanese practice style. In particular, physical training has not been done much in France, so it has become difficult for athletes. I was also surprised by the disciplined attitude of Japanese athletes in their practice. In addition, the training center with various facilities was also wonderful. I am grateful to the Japanese coaches and association staff for their warm welcome.
