Active Child Programme (ACP) Delivery Training Workshop in Guangdong Province, China
A workshop on implementing the Active Child Programme (ACP), an exercise programme developed and promoted by the Japan Sport Association (JSPO), was held for the staff of the Guangdong Tiger Strength Athletic Technology Centre in Guangdong Province, China, an institution that promotes initiatives to improve the physical strength of children in partnership with the Guangdong Province government. Local school officials and teachers also participated in the workshop.
The workshop was originally scheduled to be held in Guangdong Province, but was changed to the online format due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the two-day workshop, participants learned the theoretical background of the ACP, how to organise physical play activities, practical examples, how to design a curriculum, considerations in implementing the ACP programme and model curricula. The ACP is an exercise programme that helps children learn physical movements that they should acquire in accordance with their developmental stages. The JSPO will continue to promote the widespread implementation of the ACP both in Japan and abroad.

Our company has started the promotion of ACP system in late September this year in Guangzhou Concord Primary School, a key elementary school; and Guangzhou First Kindergarten, a key kindergarten in Guangzhou City of Guangdong Province in China.
Before the course starts, our coach conducted a physical fitness test for all students. They have recorded all the physical fitness assessment data so that they can compare the physical fitness test again when the semester ends.
